This policy explains what information SpinTheWheelPro.com collects and how it is used.
The entries you type
The wheel runs entirely in your browser. The names and choices you type, your results and your saved wheels are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are not sent to or stored on our server.
Share links
When you press Share, your wheel is encoded into the link after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to the server, so we do not receive it. Anyone you send the link to can see the wheel.
Settings stored on your device
We store your preferences (sound, confetti, colour theme, spin time and light or dark mode) in local storage. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Contact form
If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We do not use it for anything else and do not share it.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and to keep the site running, for a limited time.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses information at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.
Children
The site is suitable for a general audience, including classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and entries typed into the wheel never leave the device.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete any personal information we hold about you, such as a contact form message. Use the contact page and choose “Privacy request”.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
